TMA-Global played a critical role in the planning and design of Abu Dhabi’s integrated public transport network, ensuring operational excellence across Metro, LRT/Tram, bus, water transport, and more. Our services included:
 

• Simulation Validation: Evaluated operational simulations across all transport modes to ensure consistency, identify optimisations, and validate system feasibility.

• O&M Strategy Development: Coordinated with design consultants to create integrated operations and maintenance strategies, optimising facilities, equipment, and shared resources across modes — with full consideration for phasing, expansion, and land requirements.

• Interface Management: Oversaw the resolution of operational interfaces between transport modes to deliver seamless, passenger-friendly connectivity.

• Integrated Control Centre Planning: Led the design of the Integrated Operations Control Centre, developing a unified control strategy, common equipment specifications, and shared backup systems to meet current and future needs.

• Asset Management Strategy: Developed a proactive Asset Management Strategy to guide design, construction, and commissioning — ensuring smooth transition into operations and lifetime asset accessibility.

• Recruitment and Training Strategy: Collaborated with the Department of Transport (DoT) to build a workforce development plan, embedding training and competency requirements into all future consultancy, design, and construction contracts.
